Costa Rica, 50 centavos, "lion" counterstamp (Type VII, 1889 CB), on a Bogota, Colombia, 50 centavos, 1884, NGC AU 55, c/s UNC strong. KM-134. Choice bold counterstamp, the host lightly toned and only minimally lustrous with just a few light marks. (Note the printed catalog states the host is 5D Medellin 1886 in error.)
