Quito, Ecuador, 4 reales, 1857 GJ, eight pearls variety, NGC AU 50. Seppa/Anderson-65; KM-16. An apparently unpublished variant (probably rare, not noted on label) with clasp below hair made of eight dots ("pearls"), nice strike and luster for the assigned grade (compares favorably to AU 53s we've seen), with light orange toning at rims.
