Belgian Congo, Banque Centrale Du Congo Belge Et Du Ruanda-Urundi, 50 Francs, ND (c.1956-57), an artist's rendition of an unadopted design. Red and pale blue, weaver at left, man with machinery at right, reverse in similar colors, riverside and bridge scenes. The issued version (Pick 32) contains elements of this design with the weaver and the machinist but the scenes were modified and used on the reverse and obverse respectively. Unique. PMG 45 Choice Extremely Fine with comments of "Notes Unaffected by Issues in Selvedge, Ink".
