CANADA. Royal Bank of Canada. 10 Dollars, 1913. CH# 630-12-08. PCGS Banknote Uncirculated 62.
Montreal, Quebec. Signature combination of Neill and Holt. Scarce early Royal Bank of Canada type. An uncirculated, nice green colored example featuring the popular vignette of the Bellerophon class of battleship. Three ships were built for this type, all of them seeing service in the First World War, notably at Jutland. This note carries a high value in the Charlton Catalog. Rarely encountered in this state of preservation, and worthy of a premium bid. For reference, although this note is in a PCGS Banknote holder, PMG has yet to encapsulate this catalog number in this grade, or higher. PCGS Banknote Pop 1/None Finer.
Estimate: $6000 - $8000
