Overprint on Costa Rica P-176. Signature title of Presidente. Dated 2nd March, 1938. Sugar can harvest depicted at center in blue ink. Beautiful under printed design in multiple colors. Dark blude border design, which contrasts nicely against the underprint. Bust of Liberty at center on the reverse, with the back design in dark orange ink. One of five examples graded by PMG for the variety, and the finest example we can recall offering our bidders. PMG Pop 2/None Finer.
