500 Gulden, specimen, spurious date of 1968 but in fact series of 1938-1939, serial numbers AA12345-A67890. Green and brown, Wayang dancers flanking a watermark of a Goddess. A high denomination from a well collected series that is very rare in any form. A splendid example with fresh and vibrant colors that will attract fervent bidding on the day. Only a minor toning spot on the watermark area prevents this from achieving the higher grades.
