5/, serial number M043523. Purple-pink and pale green, elephant in between palm trees, reverse in similar but deeper colors, building and palm trees. An idyllic African scene in eye arresting colors.
1 pound, serial number A09936. Purple, light green and brown, denomination at left and right and each corner, reverse in similar but slightly deeper colors, sailing steamship by mangrove shoreline. The presentation conjures up a romantic image of the long gone days when sea trading was the norm.
5 pounds, serial number A09936. Dark green and orange, palm, trees by shoreline, reverse in similar colors, local man and burden on oxen. A beautiful rendition of contemporary rural life.
