Suriname, Surinaamsche Bank, 5 Gulden, ND (1911-15 but handwritten '22 Dec 1911' on reverse). Black printing on orange-pink paper, arms central lower border, '5' on the other three borders, Bank title and denomination at center, reverse plain as issued. The rarity of this type note cannot be overstated with virtually no other notes seen prior to 1930. Only one other specimen note exit for this denomination and date range and this the higher grade. An exquisitely rare and choice note that would be a crowning piece in any collection, let alone the Dutch Colonial series. PMG comments "Printer's Annotation".
