Suriname, Surinaamsche Bank, 100 Gulden, 24th June 1937, serial number 011704. Brown and light green, vignettes depicting local industries such as fishing, agriculture, timbering and mining at each corner, central panel showing colonial arms with '100' at each corner, star perforation at lower center and also 'WAARDELOOS' (No Value) perforation twice diagonally. A fabulously rare note with only this cancelled note graded by PMG under Pick 81 and one specimen under Pick 81s. A true gem in the Dutch Colonial series and bound to missing in even the most advanced collections. It is not an exaggeration to state that this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire this type. PMG comments "Cancelled, Annotation".
