"For the Redemption of Zion" (Paleo-Hebrew) Chalice, 5.33g, (Meshorer, 262, 30; SNG ANS, 455) Perfectly-centred, details softened but reasonably well-preserved, reverse lamentably worn but otherwise good fine.

The Dr. Offer Collection of Jewish Coins, assembled by Dr. Daniel Offer (1929-2013) in Chicago in the 1980s. Originally catalogued in 1982 using Meshorer, Y. 'Jewish Coins of the Second Temple Period' Am Hassefer and Massada, Tel Aviv, (1967). Appraised at Sotheby's, April-May, 1999.
