Fatimids. al-'Aziz billah. AH 365-386 / AD 975-996. AV Dinar (20.4mm, 4.15 g, 3h). Tabariya mint. Dated AH 371 (AD 981/2). Cf. Nicol 623 (a dirham of this mint and date). Traces of mounting. VF. Of the highest rarity, apparently an unpublished date for dinars from this rare mint.

While Nicol records silver dirhams from Tabariya dated AH 371, he knew of no gold coins for the years between AH 369-375.
