SICILY. Eryx. Circa 446/5-440/35 BC. Litra (Silver, 12 mm, 0.74 g, 2 h). Hound standing to right; border of dots. Rev. [ΕΡVΚΙΝΟΝ] Nymph standing facing, fully draped and with her head to left, sacrificing from a phiale held in her right hand over an altar to left and raising her left hand over a vine tendril to right. Buceti 10. Pozzi (Boutin) 991 (this coin). Very rare. Attractively toned. Striking faults and some old scratches under the toning, otherwise, good very fine.
