SICILY. Syracuse. Deinomenid Tyranny, 485-466 BC. Pentonkion (Silver, 6 mm, 0.25 g), circa 469-467 BC. Head of Arethusa to right, wearing a pearl necklace and with her hair bound up with a pearl diadem. Rev. Five pellets. Boehringer 371-372. Buceti 217. Attractive and well-centered with a dark patina as found. Rough surfaces, otherwise, good very fine.
