THESSALY. Larissa. Circa 479/475-460 BC. Hemiobol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.33 g, 12 h). Petasus within border of dots. Rev. Λ - Α - R - Ι (R retrograde); all within shallow inscuse square. Nomos 5, 2011, 151 (this coin), otherwise unpublished but cf. BCD Thessaly I, 1100 and BCD Thessaly II, 141-142. Clear and struck on a broad flan. Minor flatness. Very fine.
