Boeotian shield, with a horizontal club to left across the upper half. Rev. Head of youthful Herakles wearing lionskin headdress to right; in the field to right, ⨀Ε; all within a circular incuse. The attribution to the magistrate Theot(i) is based on an intriguing but highly speculative conjecture of BCD's given in the note to lot 548 of BCD Boiotia.
