ARKADIA. Heraia. late 5th-early 4th centuries BC. Obol (Silver, 11 mm, 0.73 g, 7 h). Head of Artemis to left, her hair rolled and bound with a taenia; to left, bow. Rev. Η/ΡΑ/ΑΙ (retrograde) around a large Ε; to left, two ivy leaves. BCD Peloponnesos 1358 (same dies). BMC 14 var. Traité II, 3, 1009 and pl. CCXXVIII, 10 (same dies). Very rare. Uncleaned as found with clumps of dark horn silver, otherwise, very fine.
