ARKADIA. Mantineia. Circa 420-385 BC. Obol (Silver, 11.5 mm, 0.92 g, 12 h). Acorn. Rev. ΜΑ - Ν (retrograde) Large Μ. BCD Peloponnesos 1470 var., BMC 8 ff. var., Traité II, 3, 959 var. (all lacking the retrograde legend). Apparently a very rare variant with the retrograde legend. Attractive and nicely toned. Traces of corrosion under the toning, otherwise, about extremely fine.
