MA (in Phoenician) Half-length figure of a marine deity (Ba'al-Arwad) facing, his head turned to right, holding a dolphin by the tail in each hand. Rev. Galley prow with ram to right; below, dolphin swimming to right; all within a border of dots in an incuse square. Betlyon 8. HGC 10, 45. SNG Copenhagen 6-7. Very rare. Well-struck, clear and lightly toned. Minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
