LUCANIA. Sybaris. Circa 510-475 BC. Triobol (Silver, 10.5 mm, 1.14 g, 3 h). Bull standing to right, head turned back to left. Rev. Amphora (incuse). HN III 1741. Kraay, SM 52, 1958, p. 99 C and fig. 4 = Weber 1013. Boldly attractive and nicely toned. Some roughness, otherwise, about extremely fine.

This coin was minted at some after the capture of the city by Kroton in 510/509 but before the revolt of 476/5.
