GAUL, Aulerci Eburovices. Late 3rd-early 2nd century BC. Hemistater (Gold, 19 mm, 3.27 g, 10 h). Celticized head of Apollo to left; below, upside-down boar standing to right. Rev. Celticized biga to right, with devolved charioteer above, pellet-in-rosette to right; below, boar standing to right. D&T 2401. Depeyrot, NC V 136. Scheers Series Id, Class II, 34. Attractively toned and very pleasing. Good very fine.
