KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. 1/10 Tetradrachm (Silver, 10.5 mm, 1.25 g, 12 h), struck under Philip III, Amphipolis, circa 323/2-315. Head of Apollo to right, wearing taenia. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟ-Υ Forepart of a horse to right; below, laurel branch to right; all within a linear border. Le Rider p. 124 & pl. 46, 35-36 (same dies). SNG Alpha Bank 329 (same dies). Troxel 387 (same dies). Very uncommon, nicely centered and well-struck. About extremely fine.
