AKARNANIA. Argos Amphilochikon. Circa 350-270 BC or later. Stater (Silver, 23 mm, 8.48 g, 9 h). A Pegasus with straight wings flying to left. Rev. Head of Athena to left, wearing Corinthian helmet with a neck guard; behind neck, thunderbolt; above visor, A. BCD Akarnania 140. Calciati 40. A pleasing coin, nicely struck but with a rather stylistically messy reverse. Nearly extremely fine.
