Bermuda Bermuda Government 2 Shillings 6 Pence 1.3.1939 Pick 7s Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ. In 1939, the Bermuda Government authorized two small change notes to be printed and issued in Bermuda during World War II, as coinage is typically hoarded during wartime. Bradbury, Wilkinson & Company prepared two uniface denominations, printed without a signature and printer indicator. This example is perforated cancelled and is one of only a few extant. After this emission was printed and shipped, it was deemed unnecessary, as coinage did not become scarce in Bermuda. PMG has graded a mere two of these incredible Specimens.
