British Caribbean Territories Currency Board 20 Dollars 1.9.1951 Pick 5 PMG About Uncirculated 50 EPQ. The British Government created a common currency for the British West Indies, including the Leeward and Windward Islands, as well as Trinidad and Tobago and British Guiana. The first series of notes was introduced in 1950, and features two dates of notes bearing King George VI. This impressive $20 is the second highest denomination of the series and it is seen with the 1951 date. Only minimal circulation is present atop completely original paper. At the time of cataloging, this is the single finest graded example in the PMG Population Report. An iconic Commonwealth issue, and a very rare note in anything approaching this excellent grade. Worthy of serious consideration.
