Bermuda 30.9.1927 P-4 PMG About UNC 50 10/- Shillings
Bermuda Government issue, printed by Waterlow & Sons in England. A high grade example of this scarce type from Bermuda. Like other Bermuda notes from this era this type circulated extensively and it is scarce in any grade. Higher grade examples, such as this one, are very scarce. Of the two 1927 issues this is by far the better, with just 200,000 notes printed for circulation. Skillful repairs (that are almost impossible to be detected) have enhanced the appearance of this note, and the overall eye-appeal is excellent, with strong color and original embossing that can still be seen. Much nicer than the other notes of this type we have handled previously, and a scarce Commonwealth note not to be missed. PMG mentions "Repaired".
