His bare head left; CAESAR AVGVSTVS / Round shield inscribed CL•V, aquila and signum flanking; SIGNIS above, RECEPTIS below, S P Q R around. RIC I 86b. RSC 267. Near Very Fine; attractive old tone; several bankers' marks on obverse. Attractive portrait.
