Mask of Silenus right; plow below; all within an ornamented torque / Victory, holding whip, palm frond, and reins, driving galloping biga right; carnyx (Gallic trumpet) below; D•SILANVS•L•F in exergue. Crawford 337/1a. Sydenham 644a. RSC Junia 19. RBW 1230. Choice Near Extremely Fine; well centered and crisply struck; lightly iridescent tone; fine style. Rare, and in exceptional condition for the issue. Comes with collector's custom black cardboard holder.
