Bridled horse standing right, being restrained by male standing right, in background, who holds bridle with his right hand; below, tunny right / Quadripartite incuse square. Von Fritze I 213; Greenwell, Some 2; Boston MFA 1556–7; SNG BN –; BMC –; FSD SHM 1229 = Hermitage (Exhibition) 118; Gulbenkian 666 (same dies); Jameson 2211. Light scratches in field on obverse. VF. Well centered. Extremely rare, one of only two in CoinArchives (the other: Triton XXIV, lot 643 [hammer $15,000] = Triton XXII, lot 235).
