ISLANDS off IONIA, Chios. Circa 435-425 BC. AR Didrachm (15mm, 7.83 g). Sphinx seated left; to left, grape bunch on vine with leaves above amphora / Quadripartite incuse square. Mavrogordato 26; HGC 6, 1121. Toned, slightly granular, a few marks on edge. VF. Rare.
