SICILY, Naxos. Circa 415-403 BC. AR Litra (9.5mm, 0.76 g, 11h). Wreathed head of young Dionysos left / Youthful Silenos kneeling left, holding kantharos and thyrsos; vine of ivy to lower left. Cahn –; Campana 27 (same dies as illustration = NAC 25, lot 86); HGC 2, –. Lightly toned. Good VF. Extremely rare, apparently the second known.
