Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; monogram to inner left, BY below throne, ornate trident in exergue. Callataÿ Group 2B, obv. die unlisted; Müller –; HGC 3, 1405. Iridescent tone, slight weakness on high points, a couple of minor scratches in field on reverse. Good VF.
