Anonymous. 211-210 BC. AR Denarius (19mm, 4.12 g, 11h). Grain ear (third) series. Uncertain mint in Sicily. Helmeted head of Roma right; X (mark of value) to left / The Dioscuri, each holding spear, on horseback right; two stars above, grain ear below; ROMA in linear frame in exergue. Crawford 72/3; Sydenham 193; RSC 20m; RBW 305. Iridescent toning, minor areas of weak strike, die break on obverse. Near EF. Rare.
