Hadrian. AD 117-138. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.24 g, 5h). Rome mint. Struck AD 133-circa 135. Bare head right / Salus, draped, standing right, right hand extended, feeding out of patera serpent coiled around and rising from altar to right. RIC II.3 2048; RSC 1335. Iridescent tone, a few shallow scratches under tone on reverse. Superb EF. Struck from fresh dies.
