Struck 830 or 831. * OЄOFI LOS ЬASILЄ´, crowned facing bust of Theophilus, wearing chlamys, holding patriarchal cross in right hand and akakia in left / + COҺSτ AҺτ´ ∂ЄSPO´ Λ, crowned facing bust of Constantine, wearing loros, holding patriarchal globus cruciger in right hand and cruciform scepter in left. DOC 2a; Füeg 2.C.3 (this coin illustrated); SB 1654. Lustrous, a couple scuffs on reverse, some edge marks (possibly ex-mount). EF. Very rare.
