Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ Eagle with closed wings standing left on thunderbolt; in field to left, LΔ (date). Elsen 110 (2011), 235 var. (same obverse die, but differing placement of date). Noeske -. SNG Copenhagen -. Svoronos -. Extremely rare. Boldly struck and with a particularly expressive portrait of the dynasty founder. A few minor marks and with a small die break on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
