KYRENAICA. Kyrene. Magas, as Ptolemaic Governor, circa 308-305 BC. Obol (Gold, 8 mm, 0.72 g, 9 h), Attic standard. Bearded head of Zeus Ammon to right, with ram's horn over his ear. Rev. Vertical thunderbolt between two eight-rayed stars. BMC 216-8. Naville 209-11. SNG Copenhagen 1233. A lovely little coin, well struck and attractive. Struck from a slightly worn reverse die, otherwise, extremely fine.
