P M TR P XVIII COS III P P / S C Roma seated right on throne, extending her right hand and holding scepter in her left; to right, captive kneeling left, raising both hands. BMC -, cf. 197-9 (Roma holding palladium). Cohen -, cf. 552 (Roma holding palladium). RIC -, cf. 804 (Roma holding palladium). A very rare variety. A beautiful example with an excellent portrait and a very attractive green patina. Minor smoothing, otherwise, extremely fine.
