BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom. Hippostratos Soter. Circa 65-55 BC. Æ (25x25mm, 9.68 g, 12h). Zeus-Mithras, nimbate and laureate, seated slightly left, holding filleted diadem (or pouring libation from phiale?) and scepter / Horse left; monogram to lower left. Bopearachchi 10A; cf. SNG ANS 1641-2 (same type and control, but smaller denomination); HGC 12, 457. Near VF, earthen brown patina. Scarce.
