LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 340-330 BC. AR Nomos (25mm, 7.48 g, 10h). Helmeted head of Leukippos right; seated dog behind / Barley ear with leaf to right; bird above leaf, AM[I] below. Johnson Class B, 3.2 (same dies?); SNG ANS 444; HN Italy 1576. Fine, lightly toned, flan crack, struck on an irregular flan.
