MACEDON (Roman Protectorate), Republican period. First Meris. Circa 167-149 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30mm, 16.80 g, 9h). Amphipolis mint. Diademed and draped bust of Artemis right, with bow and quiver over shoulder, in the center of a Macedonian shield; shield decorated with seven six-pointed stars within double crescents / Club; AP monogram and MAKEΔONΩN above, ΠPΩTHΣ below; all within oak wreath, thunderbolt to left. SNG Copenhagen 1310–1. Good Fine.
