Half-length male bust facing, diademed and draped, with hand across chest; name of Arslan around / Name and titles of the Ayyubid overlord al-Nasir Salah al-Din Yusuf I (Saladin) in five lines within six-pointed star; illegible date in margin. Whelan Type I; S&S Type 33.1; Album 1829.1. VF, green-black patina, area of roughness on lower right of bust.
