NORMAN. Henry I. 1100-1135. AR Penny (20mm, 1.34 g, 6h). Pellets in quatrefoil type (BMC xiv). Winchester mint; Lefwine(?), moneyer. Struck circa 1123. Crowned facing bust, holding scepter; star to right / Quatrefoil with central star and three pellets in each limb; lis in each quarter. Cf. BMC 191; North 870; SCBC 1275. VF, flan crack, edge chipped.
