HUNNIC TRIBES: Uncertain ruler, 7th century, BI drachm (2.51g), G-296, imitation of the standard drachm of the Sasanian Khusro II, but with Bactrian legend in the margin and uncertain countermark on the obverse; unlike the examples illustrated by Göbl, this piece has an extra outer circle outside the star-and-crescents; some encrustations, mainly on the reverse, crude VF, RRR. A similar example was sold in CNG Electronic Auction 208, Lot 180.
