BELGIUM: Leopold I, 1831-1865, AR 2 francs, Brussels, 1849, KM-10, Morin-51; Aernout-BFM-108, prooflike fields, lightly cleaned, nicely toned, PCGS graded UNC details, RRR, ex Joe Sedillot Collection. This is one of the most difficult to acquire coins for collectors of the modern Belgium series and is almost never offered at auction. We could find only two examples on Coin Archives. The piece from the The Lissner Collection sold in 2014 and another piece sold in a Ponterio auction in 2011.
