UMAYYAD: AE fals (2.70g), Balkh, AH114, A-B197, citing al-Junayd (b. 'Abd Allah al-Murri), governor of Khorasan AH111/112-116, on the obverse, together with denomination formula sittin bi-dirham ("sixty to a dirham"), mint & date formula on the reverse, fully legible, F-VF, RRR. Second known example of this type, first sold in our Auction 42, Lot 122 (there is also the unique example with muling of two reverses, Zeno-273756).
