ABBASID: al-Mu'tamid, 870-892, AR dirham (2.88g), Arminiya, AH273, A-240.5, Vardanyan, citing al-Muwaffaq, heir to the east; mint name spelled aminiya without the "R" (engraver's error), some weakness of strike, unpublished date and unique, VF, RRR. Vardanyan knows of Arminiya dirhams of al-Mu'tamid dated AH262, 267, 269, 276, and 277, but since then additional examples, probably all still unique, are now known dated 265, 268, and now 273.
