MERINID: Abu Mâlik 'Abd al-Mu'min, 1362-1363, AV dinar (4.62g), Sijilmasa, ND, A-532F, BM-X:193ee, Prieto-81, Elhadri-184, standard obverse religious legends // reverse center duriba bi-madinat sijilmasa / 'an amr 'abd Allah amir / al-muslimin abu mâ- / -lik 'abd al-mu'min bin / amir al-muslimin abu 'ali 'umar, struck during his brief declaration of power during the chaotic period after the death of Abu 'Inan Fars in AH759 (1358), slightly crinkled, VF, RRRR. Elhadri knew of no additional specimens reported since Prieto's publication in 1934.
