ZURAY'ID: Anonymous, 507-532 AH, AV ½ dinar (1.14g), Dhu Jibla, AH532, A-1079F, citing the Fatimid caliph al-Amir with his full name al-mansur al-amir bi-ahkam Allah in the obverse margin and the long-deceased Sulayhid al-Mukarram in the reverse field, unpublished and one of just two known (the second is lot 524, from the same dies), EF, RRR. Often classified as an issue of the Sulayhid Queen 'Arwa, who struck coins in the name of her deceased father until she died in AH532; these are traditionally classified as Zuray'id, established at both 'Adan and Dhu Jibla by about AH506 (1113 AD).
