QARAKHANID: Sulayman b. Yusuf, 1031-1056, AR dirham (5.13g), Kashghar, AH426, A-3359, Kochnev, ruler cited as malik al-mashriq on the obverse, only arslan khan on the reverse, appears to be the second known example (first sold in our Auction 44, Lot 563), VF, RRR. Kashgar (Kashi in Chinese) is located in today's western Xinjiang in China, near the border with Kyrgyzstan.
