GREAT MONGOLS: Chingiz Khan, 1206-1227, AR dirham (3.04g), [Ghazna], ND, A-1967, citing Chingiz Khan by name, Zeno type A3/B2, lovely bold strike, choice EF, R. It has recently been suggested that this type was not necessarily struck at Ghazna, but by the Mongol military after it departed from Ghazna when chasing Mangubarni towards the Indus River, with minting equipment brought along from Ghazna.
